Maryland Groundwater Well Network (MGS & USGS)

This layer shows the locations of observation wells in Maryland, which monitor groundwater levels and provide data for understanding long-term water trends and aquifer conditions.

The data is sourced from the Maryland Geological Survey (MGS) in partnership with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Information, including hydrographs and water-level measurements, is stored in the USGS National Water Information System and can be accessed for individual wells through this system.
